ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Our region (the region of Kalamata) is world known not just for the table olives KALAMATA PDO but also for the quality of the organic olive oil.
About 95% the world-famous Koroneiki variety is grown in our region. It is a single-fruited variety with a cylindrical shape and small nipple. The oil content varies between 20% to 30% and they are harvested from mid-November to late January.
The organic olive oil produced by approved organic farmers who follow the rules of organic farming is very low in acidity, with golden-green color, soft fruity aroma and taste which is characteristic of green fruit.
